About the Role

As an Event Operations Assistant at VIP, you’ll help organize, prepare, and execute memorable event experiences from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Venue & Vendor Research: Research and compare potential venues, vendors, and suppliers for upcoming events.

Setup & Breakdown: Assist in setting up and dismantling event spaces, including equipment, signage, and decor.

Transport Coordination: Help organize transportation of materials, team members, and resources for each event.

Guest Experience: Greet and register attendees, address on-site needs, and help create a welcoming atmosphere.

Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders before and during the event.

Vendor Relationship Management: Foster strong connections with vendors and partners.

Task Management: Maintain checklists and support event timelines and logistics.

Customer Service: Provide thoughtful, efficient service to all attendees, reflecting VIP’s values and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High energy, proactive, and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable working on your feet and lifting moderate-weight equipment

  • Prior experience in events, customer service, hospitality, or logistics a plus

  • Able to remain calm under pressure and problem-solve in real time

  • Professional communication skills and a team-first mentality

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to assist with setup and teardown

No previous event planning experience required. We’re looking for doers, helpers, and natural organizers.
